Just finished watching "Children of Men" at Joe's house. It's a pretty interesting movie - really weird. Looks like they spent so much $money$ on the explosions that they ran out of money and ended the movie on the spot. It really has a pretty disappointing ending. No idea where its gonna go. The music during the credits also did not match the mood of the ending.
Good acting by the lead guy named "Theo" though. Pretty believable. The movie had a lot of swearing though - I guess it shows the vocabulary range of the British which consists mostly of the F-word and the word "wanker." The best part of the movie as decided by everyone who watched the movie at Joe's house was when a herd of sheep went through the screen. It was pretty hilarious.
And by the way, an actual baby that is two days old would die if it went through all that noise, dust and trauma.
Overall, I'd give it a 3/5 for special effects and 2/5 for plot.
